Rubber tube

You can use rubber tubes to connect various pieces of glassware and gas cylinders which have connection pads. The pads are displayed when you move the cursor over these parts.

To create a tube between two connection pads:

1. Click on the first connection pad.
2. Move the cursor, clicking to create a bend in the tubing as necessary, and then click on the terminating connection pad.

To create an unconnected end, double-click when creating the tube.

To move or reroute a tube, click on the section of tubing and drag it into a new position.

Key points:

• Tubes are automatically deleted if you delete the connecting part.
• Tubing is rerouted if possible when connecting parts are moved. If the new position of a part makes this impossible, the pipe will go grey to show that dropping the part will delete the tube.
